Pupstruction

To promote the launch of their new animated series, Pupstruction, Disney Junior asked Creative Mammals to create a logo animation and full motion graphics promo package based on the teamwork of 4 adorable canine construction workers!

We were asked to research the existing aesthetics of the show and incorporate existing character rotos to create visual concepts for this package. With many of the show’s assets still being created upon kickoff, we had to use our imagination to fill in visual gaps while starting the process. 

Using the theme of construction, we based our look for the package on textured blueprint paper with sketched drawings of key elements from the show. This served as our touchstone throughout each deliverable and as a background for several graphics. It also influenced how we approached the animation of certain elements, such as our title cards, where we imparted a style of penciled-in lettering for the typography. We used Adobe Photoshop to create our textures and illustrations, then brought everything together in After Effects for compositing and animation. We also streamlined the resulting motion graphics promo package into seamless and customizable toolkits.
